If you are looking for a place to kick back and relax, you have found it. Tucked into the woods yet just a few minutes from town we have a get-a-way cottage with 50 feet of frontage on Lake Salem. Watch the sun rise over the lake from our screened in porch with patio sofa or the patio dining set. Take one of the two kayaks, stand up paddle board or even the pedal boat out on the lake to catch the sun setting. Our cottage has three bedrooms, and one bath with a stand up shower. The three bedrooms are on the upper level with the master bedroom containing two queen beds, one bedroom with one queen bed, and a third bedroom with one queen bed. Open living/dining and kitchen areas are downstairs. Nice rustic pine interior gives that Vermont cabin feel. We have all the amenities including stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, gas grill, etc. We also have cable TV and wireless internet. The beach area is great for small children as the water is shallow and warms quickly in the spring. Lake Salem is one of the cleanest lakes in Vermont and is great for all kinds of recreation. This is an excellent lake for fishing and swimming, and is also gorgeous during fall foliage season. A treed lot boundary maintains privacy and a peaceful lake setting.
