Easy and comfortable living with lake access just across the road from the house and easy access to the VAST snowmobile trails network. Enjoy quiet lake living year round in our well-equipped house. Small fenced back yard with firepit. The house is on a quiet, dead-end road and backs onto natural woodland.
You will definitely feel as though you are living by the lake, but we want to be clear that the lake access is via a neighbour's property, so-called “shared access”. The lake entry here is very shallow with a silty sand entry. This access is directly in front of the house, across the road. But being shared access means you cannot sit directly on the lake front or leave boats there. You can, however, sit on the front deck of the house and enjoy the views of the lake and the breezes coming off the lake.
Inside, you will enjoy the benefits of recent modernizations. The downstairs is a simple, open-plan area with high ceilings and thoughtfully arranged living spaces. The kitchen is well-stocked with all you will need to prepare meals, including a glass-topped stove, large fridge/freezer with ice maker, well-positioned island and a comprehensive collection of pots and pans. The dining area has a beautiful solid wood, Ethan Allen dining table with seating for at least 6. The living area has a mission-style theme with seating for six.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed. There are two cots suitable for children which can be put into either of the bedrooms, and the living room futon converts into a very comfortable double bed. Please note the max occupancy is for 6, including children.
Outside, we have a delightful frontage with lawn and flower garden. The back of the house boasts a fenced lawn area with fire pit.
The house is a well-designed four-season property. We are accepting bookings year round. Its location offers fun for all, whether it’s summer lake activity, autumn fall foliage, winter skiing or snow mobiling on the nearby VAST network or spring hiking and biking on the local trails.
