Summary: We had a group of nine (7 adults and 2 kids) and we had plenty of space. The house was extremely clean. We didn’t use the kitchen much besides coffee in the morning, but it seemed well stocked if you need to cook. The view from the house is unbeatable. Couple of suggestions: the fire pit could use a few more chairs. The house is so large to only have four. We had enough bath towels for each bed, but more hand towels would be nice. And the marshmallows are a nice touch, but you still have to go to the store for the other smore ingredients. The kitchen could use more coffee mugs. Bar Harbor is an easy 20 min drive, and they have all the restaurants you could need. The Gorham Mountain trail along the ocean path trail was a challenging combo but not as unconquerable as the beehive. Our kids were able to do it! Thankfully it was sunny so we had a nice view. We made the drive over to Schoodic Peninsula and that was worth it to walk the sundew trail. It was pretty even with the fog. The Jordan Pond trail was good for one of our rainy days. Restaurants we enjoyed: Great Maine Breakfast, Jordan’s, The Lobster Pound. Thanks for a great stay! We made lots of memories.
