Relax on the two screened-in porches and enjoy the beautiful fenced-in backyard. This home is ideal for all four seasons. Endless access to swimming, hiking, biking, fishing and snowmobiling (VAST). This updated vintage cape has two bathrooms, four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people. There are two bedrooms on the first floor (one Queen and one Full size) and two on the second floor (both Queens). A bonus room upstairs includes a TV, game table and a day bed, perfect for the kids. Enjoy 2 screened-in porches at the front and back of the house, and a large, nicely fenced in back yard. At the lakefront, there is a gazebo with chairs, a firepit, and string lights to relax while taking in the breathtaking view. There is plenty of parking by the house and since it’s located directly off Route 111, you don’t have to worry about treacherous driveways in the winter. The kitchen is stocked with new appliances and basic cooking supplies, including dishware, oil, S&P, and tea/coffee. We also have Amazon smart devices for guests’ use.
Guests will have access to the entire home, yard, front and back porch, and private lake frontage. Use the smart keypad for easy access to the house. We've got all you'll need to spend the day on the lake: an aluminum dock, beach towels, two canoes and a kayak to explore Seymour Lake by water! The house is also prepared for rainy days and winter months with a large variety of board games and puzzles for young and old, along with access to Wi-Fi and streaming services on the TV. Accessibility: There are two sets of five steps to reach the front door and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Two additional bedrooms are on the second level of the house, with a steep, carpeted staircase. There is a steep slope down to the lake frontage, which you can access by stairs or grass. The dock and water can only be accessed by stairs
The home was built in 1850 and maintains its vintage charm. The house is also directly on Route 111, so be mindful of cars when crossing the street to the lake frontage. This is a non-smoking property, including the screened-in porches.
