Enjoy the solitude as you watch the sun rise over the beautiful LaPlata Mountains, and the sun set over Utah’s Blue Mountains. The Sleeping Ute Mountain is close by to the south and the Lone Cone in the distance to the north. Located on a sparsely populated paved country road, the house is 1 mile from the Canyon of the Ancients National Monument Sand Canyon Trail Head. Enjoy riding your ATV or mountain bike on the dirt roads and trails within the Monument or take a hike on the Sand Canyon Trail in search of Puebloan ruins. The house is located two hours from Moab, Utah and Telluride, CO, one hour from Mesa Verde National Park, and less then an hour from the San Juan National Forest. Within a 30 minute drive there are boating and fishing opportunities on Narraguinnep and McPhee reservoirs, and world class single track mountain biking at Phil’s World and Boggy Draw trail systems.
