Situated on the year-round Sawkill Creek, Streamside House is an attractively renovated and tastefully furnished 4+ bedroom home with, 2 full baths and 2 half baths. Within 3-4 uptown city blocks, guests will find it an easy walk into the center of Woodstock.
There is a dedicated office in this house, and there is an extra desk area if two need to work from home. Wi-Fi and cell service are excellent..

Now on to the fun stuff! The house has approximately 3800 square feet. Multiple seating areas allow for togetherness or alone-time. And the huge game room provides entertainment for both adults and children, offering a pool/ping pong table, craft table & chairs, bean bag lounger chairs, and games and toys for all ages. Also, we've just installed a new outdoor hot tub!
Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms. The master, with queen bed, has a seating area with TV and and a full-size futon lounger, and an en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed setup with a queen bed on the bottom and a full bed on top--perfect for two adults or 4 children. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. Bedroom 4 is like another master, with a sitting area and a TV of its own. The hall bath has a tub and shower combination. The dedicated office on this floor with a futon lounger-sleeper sofa should there be an additional adult or teen. All in all we can sleep 8 adults in bedrooms, and 9 adults in a pinch.
The living area on the first floor is set up for comfort and conviviality. We have a powder room/laundry room on this floor. The well-stocked contemporary kitchen has lots of space so that several people can cook at once in comfort. The area off the kitchen affords overstuffed, comfortable seating and a breakfast table where early birds can enjoy their coffee indoors while contemplating the outdoors and listening to the rushing stream.
The living room is another majorly comfortable room where many can gather to watch TV or enjoy the wood-burning fireplace. And the separate dining room is a perfect spot for friendly meals.
Outdoors is a brand new deck with dining table and gas grill. And by the stream itself, we have seating and a fire pit for outdoor enjoyment during both the day and the evening.
The hot tub is situated right outside the game room and affords a view of the stream. The tub is serviced weekly by professionals so that it stays clean and safe.
