Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Close to the water and Belfair is only about 10 minutes away. Feels semi-private, but not too far from necessities. State parks close by. The space is open, bright and minimal. Feels clean and beachy, a nice space to be in. Patio is ample both for dining and lounging in evening. Nice to have a hot tub, but didn't use it. Steps leading to beach were nice and tide goes out enough to go down to rocks and oyster bed. Kitchen was great, as very particular of need to cook our own multiple types of food. Well stocked with everything including a few organic items. Parking enough for 2 vehicles across the Hwy. Great morning and evening sunrise and sunsets to enjoy. A few books and games. TV and stereo (but didn't use). Check-in and out was painless, things were clean, well explained, logically laid out, nice house rule reminder at door, etc.

Negative: Hwy is feet from the front door and non-stop traffic which at times can be stressful. Crossing the Hwy to the parking can be a little stressful (speed of traffic with kids, dogs, etc.) and getting in and out with the vehicle at times hard to see if traffic coming. Front step/deck is rotting and needs repair. Neighbors / other rentals next door both had barking dogs which was annoying as hell, but thankfully stayed briefly. Beds were very firm and not overly comfortable (but better than too soft). Deck is in the shade fairly early in late summer and doesn't get morning sun during breakfast, but can move to find the sun as needed. Lighting in the kitchen is on a dimmer and usually ample but the island has no lights and food prep in the evening can be a slight challenge. Location was okay for what it is, but if looking to spend time in the Olympic National Park, it is too far away. Price was steep (but prob. going rate for this type of thing and currency loss from where traveling from made it more painful).

Summary: Was a very lovely space and generally favorable with some small annoyances.
