Relax on the front porch for your morning coffee/tea with the beautiful weeping cherry tree that is that talk of the neighborhood when in full bloom or and enjoy those summer nights in the back yard with a huge deck and firepit!
The Space:
Enjoy some antique charm in this quaint farmhouse. This home opens into a living space and dining room, fully equipped eat-in kitchen, full bathroom and a main floor bedroom. There is a loft space upstairs for all your work-from-home needs, two bedrooms and full bathroom and a washer/dryer.
The first floor bedroom has a king bed. The first bedroom upstairs has two doubles and the other has a queen and futon. There is also a queen pullout bed in the living room!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire property and yard. Driveway next to house can fit up to 4 cars.
All cancellations due to weather are subject to our cancellation policy. There can be unpredictable winter weather in the Shenandoah Valley, which can make traversing roads and accessing homes challenging. We recommend purchasing traveler's insurance if you are concerned that your vehicle might not be able to traverse snowy roads during inclement weather and you may have to cancel.
The Neighborhood:
This house is located in the in Maurertown. It is a quaint small town, with small town feel. Our home is located on the main road through Maurertown, and very close to the interstate. There is a restaurant and convenience store within five minutes, and Strasburg is about a ten minute drive if there's anything else you might need during your stay away
Getting Around:
This is a small, rural, town so we recommend driving!

We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
This home is located in a rural town in the Shenandoah Valley. There is the larger town of Strasburg less than fifteen minutes away for more dining and shopping options, although we do have a small restaurant within walking distance and also a Dollar General for basic conveniences less than two miles away. This is a rustic home in small, rural town in the Shenandoah Valley. If you are looking for a boutique hotel-type experience, our home might not be a great fit. We have amazing neighbors who have guinea hens and even a little pony, so you might get lucky and see a few barnyard animals during your stay, along with some local wildlife including deer, bear, raccoons, bugs, mice, possums, snakes, or lizards! We have never personally experienced an issue with the internet, but a couple of our guests have mentioned that it CAN be spotty due to our more rural location.
