Absolutely gorgeous setting in Stowe! Large upstairs king bedroom, bathroom on second floor. Pull out queen couch downstairs, perfect for couples or small families. Plenty of space, full kitchen and large deck with views. Snowshoeing, and hiking right out the door with no need to drive! Our house is surrounded by 6600 acres of state forest. Located across the street from Miller Brook, or just down the road you can tube the Cotton Brook to Waterbury Reservoir. A very special spot!

Summary: Ultimately this was a good place for a quiet week in the woods but it’s a very bare bones rental & didn’t seem worth the money. From what’s in the house to the overgrown raised beds & broken surrounding fence, it doesn’t feel homey or loved. Clearly someone cared about it in the past but now it’s just a corporate rental. Make sure you BYO coffee, oil & salt and don’t leave any food in your car. Ours was empty but accidentally left unlocked & a bear decided to take a look.
