This modern and attractive log cabin sits high on Black Mountain (Ck out photo of location), Jackson NH. It’s surrounded by the privacy of the White Mountain National Forest. It has the feel of being in the wilderness, but minutes to civilization. On a clear night step outside and shut off the lights, you can almost touch the stars, and hear a pin drop. The privacy and spectacular views truly add to this great log cabin.The interior is handsomely furnished, 2 bedrooms, and loft sleeps 6. A granite countered kitchen which is fully equipped - garlic press to wine glasses. Wood stove fireplace is in main open concept common room area adjacent to dining, and living room areas. The lower walkout level contains a finished recreation room with flat screen/DVD, there is a large film selection.The cell signal is strong , and internet can be accessed on laptop through hot spot on cell. Outside on lawn there is grill, picnic table , lawn chairs and a majestic mountain view. At times you can hear “The Great Brook” which is steps away and offers a few soaking pools. This Magnificent Hideaway is on The White Mtn National Forest Trail System :Bald Land Trail, East Pasture Loop, and Black Mtn Cabin Trailhead are right out the door. A 5 minute ride to Jackson Village, offers some top notch restaurants and taverns all family friendly. There are 2 public golf courses in town, and the Wildcat Stream at Jackson Falls offers a scenic place to take cool dip. There are numerous areas dedicated to fly fishing and areas for bait fishing. Kayak/Canoe rentals on the Saco River is a 1/2 hour ride. People have chosen Jackson for their vacation destination since the 1800’s,and for many good reasons. The town of North Conway is a 20 min ride- tax free shopping and plenty of taverns & restaurants. Storylandis 15 minutes away. Cabin is 60 miles from the Maine Coast and 125 miles from Boston.
