Located on ten private acres, visit our two bedroom, (plus common room with twin bed), two full bath, establishment with common areas for lodging up to five. Fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, private scenic deck, ample paved parking space that with special arrangements can accommodate your camper, ATV’s or Horse trailer. Pasture, water source and shelter for up to two horses for your over the road or vacation travels. HUNTERS ARE WELCOME. Smoking, although not allowed indoors, is allowed on the deck, at the picnic areas and grounds. We are located 15 miles from Pennyrile Resort State Park, 40 miles from Land Between the Lakes, 13 miles from Lake Beshear, and 6 miles from the nearest town. We are 18 miles from Jones-Kinney wildlife Preserve for hiking and photography. Enjoy your privacy and your uninterrupted commune with nature and with each other. Your Lodging establishment sets on ten of eighty wooded acres with pastureland, pond and farm along with pristine and undeveloped woodland.
Enjoy the night sky without competition and distortion from city lights. Take in the night sounds delivered to you in surround sound by Mother Nature, herself.
For your convenience you have a fully stocked kitchen with supplies for a continental breakfast and coffee . There are two picnic areas outside, a fire pit and a bar-be-que grill. Enjoy a 43” screen smart TV that will respond to your personal hotspot and the apps you have arranged for your personal use. Internet is reliable except during the worst of temporary weather conditions. There is a designated work space.
There is $20 per day cleaning fee. Taxes on Kentucky stays are 7.6%. Bookings can be made from a minimum of one night to a maximum of 30 days with special arrangements. All bookings for over 13 days will require an additional contract to satisfy the Commonwealth of Kentucky tenant-landlord exceptions.
Up to two dogs under 50 pounds are allowed on the property. The additional rate for each dog is $30.00 per stay. Two kennels are available for hunting dogs. The barn/horse shelter is approximately 300’ from the lodge.
If you are bringing up to two horses and their trailer, the fee nightly for the pasture, shelter and water is $50.
Parking is free for vehicles in an accessible paved driveway.
Parking is also available for extra campers and Horse trailers if you are inviting friends for a group gathering. The specifics of these arrangements require additional charges and contractual agreements.
Your Lodging is separated by gated fence to the greater ten acres. Our friendly and healthy barnyard animals may graze there for your enjoyment.. If there are issues with allergies or other concerns, please let us know in advance and we can graze them in the lower forty acres. So far, the animals have been a big draw for our guests and friends!
