Beautiful lakefront home on Great Sacandaga Lake with 3 levels of spectacular sunset and mountain views. Situated at the end of a private road, this all-season, 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom house features a renovated kitchen & bathrooms and 3 outside decks (covered patio added in 2023). The hot tub is situated on our main deck and offers breathtaking views of the stars at night. There is so much to enjoy in our Adirondack retreat. Exclusive 95’ of private lakefront with gently sloping property leading to the sandy beach with a new dock (spring 2022) is perfect for swimming, boating, and relaxing in the sun. Large lawn allows for your family enjoyment as you rest in the beachside hammock, picnic with your family lakeside, and play catch or other games in this spacious yard. Or, take the kayaks for a paddle down the lake. At night, enjoy smores by the fire under the incredible stars. You can also relax and hang out in your separate garage game room loaded with ping pong, air hockey, foosball, basketball and darts.
The home is complete with everything you will need to feel comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities and more. We have a dining room and family room plus a lake room which is an ideal setting for families or couples to spend time together. There is a house phone, WIFI, three smart TVs that include Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu and Disney Plus and a DVD player with many movies to choose from. There are also board games for the entire family and a selection of local authors books for your reading enjoyment. The outside main deck contains a Weber BBQ, large covered seating area (to eat and to relax) and a hot tub. Our lake-level covered patio (added 2023) includes a Smart TV, super comfortable sectional sofa and refrigerator (for easy access to cool beverages on a hot, sunny day). This is all you need for the perfect getaway.
The home comfortably sleeps 8. The master bedroom has a king bed, seating area and private balcony deck overlooking the lake where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or your wine in the evening. Two bedrooms have queen beds. One bedroom has a bunk bed (twin over full with pull out trundle). This bedroom is perfect for the kids or a family with small children. All beds have new mattress. The upstairs bathroom features a double vanity and large area for your towels.
We include all the essentials you will need in order to make your stay more enjoyable, such as firewood for your campfires, smores sticks, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap & sponges, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, standard condiments and many more items. We provide bed linens as well.
Our location is fantastic for day trips. Lake George Village, Saratoga Springs are each approximately 35-40 minutes away. Gore Mountain is approximately 1 hour away. The Barton Garnet Mines, where you will find one of the world’s largest garnet deposits, are approximately 1 hour away.
If you prefer to stay closer to home, Northville is 10 minutes away. In this quaint town, you will find many antique stores, a 5&10, a grocery store, shopping and restaurants. There is a wonderful local-owned farm to table store with fresh vegetables, homemade cheeses and desserts. There is also a small ice cream stand to keep the kids happy.
The Great Sacandaga Lake is a superb location for boating, water sports, snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, hiking, bicycling and simply relaxing. We invite you to create your own special experiences and memories in our Adirondack home.
