Your beach house awaits! Easy walk to Falmouth's beautiful beaches but nestled far enough off the road to relax peacefully. The home is located just two blocks from Falmouth Harbor where you can watch the boats and fish from the end of the pier. Also, if a trip to Martha's Vineyard is on your wish list, look no further; the Island Queen boat departs just a two-minute walk from our back door. No worries about parking or missing the boat! The home is also within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
We take pride in our home and continue to make improvements year after year. In 2012, fresh paint (interior and exterior), new flooring, updated lighting, new bed linens and professional furniture cleaning. In 2013, we added a new Weber gas grill perfect for summer cook-outs. In the 2014 season, we added a front loading, high-efficiency washer and dryer as well as two new twin beds. The outdoor shower was added in 2016 for the perfect way to rinse off after a beautiful beach day. In 2017 the dining room table was replaced, and in 2018 the living room furniture got a boost with a leather recliner and cozy pullout sofa. 2019 brought an exterior face-lift with a new stone driveway, cedar shingle siding and a new shed to house all the fun outdoor games. Last year we invested in the landscape with new plantings. We take good care of our property so that you can relax and enjoy every minute!
Details about the accommodations: Two-story home sleeps 4-6 with two bedrooms (upstairs), full bath, eat-in kitchen and pull-out queen sleeper sofa in living room. Kitchen includes dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove, full-size refrigerator, microwave and all the amenities for your dining needs. Full-size tub in bathroom for ease of bathing little ones. Bedrooms feature one queen bed and two twin beds with window air conditioners in both rooms. Living room has comfortable seating for six with entertainment options including a flat-screen tv, DVD player (assorted movies available), iPhone docking station, board games and puzzles. Home is equipped with cable and wireless internet access.
The house is situated back from the road so you can freely enjoy the outdoor space. The backyard includes an outdoor eating area and gas grill. The large sunny front yard is perfect for frisbee, soccer, or relaxing in the evening with the cool ocean breeze.
For your added convenience, we provide beach chairs, coolers (several sizes), beach toys, boogie boards and a wagon to easily bring your gear to/from the beach. We love our little spot of Cape Cod bliss and hope you do, too!
