Skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling along with a variety of outdoor activities are available within minutes to our guests.
Rail-Trail Council of NEPA hosts a variety of fun outdoor events throughout the winter and have snowshoes free to borrow.
My favorite season on The D&H Rail-Trail is the winter. I can't think of a better way to spend a few hours outside during that cold snowy season than exploring the beautiful Rail-Trail. I'd encourage you to also get adventurous and rent a pair of snowshoes (from the Rail-Trail) and relish in the quiet snow covered countryside or a pair of cross-country skis to get your heart rate up and a workout in on the miles of D&H Rail-Trail.
