2 Bedroom Apartment in Bridgton
A quick walk from downtown you'll find the Blueberry House. The space is located on the second floor of a recently renovated farm house from the 1880s. There are two bedrooms with the option of turning the living room into a third bedroom with a queen sofa bed and doors for privacy, a full bathroom with a tub, and a large eat in kitchen complete with dining table and a TV. In the warmer months there is a back porch with a dining set-up and grill. Both bedrooms have room darkening shades.
The space
As noted, the space is on the second floor of the house which is completely locked off from the first floor where I live. You will need to go up one flight of stairs, but if I'm home I'm happy to assist with luggage. Please note this is an old farm house so the stairs are steeper and more narrow than today's standard. Use the hand railings and do not run up or down the stairs.
I hope you'll enjoy the space as I've used it to host friends and family for the last few years and filled it with little personal touches.
At the end of your stay there will be no "to-do" list or chores. I simply ask that beds used be left unmade and the door locked behind you.
Guest access
Guests have access to sole use of the porch which can be accessed by going down the stairs inside the apartment and through the large double doors.
The downstairs is locked off from guests as it is where I live.
Other things to note
I live on the 1st floor which is closed off from the second floor unit with a private entrance. I like to be available to meet guests when they arrive but I am typically traveling for work or staying with my partner.
I have a tenant that lives in an apartment above the garage which is detached from the main house with a separate entrance. You may encounter them walking their friendly lab mix.
