Discover Stowe’s impressive Sterling Valley which has an extensive wooded trail system and scenic vistas for hiking, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing making this area of Stowe a desirable location for outdoor enthusiasts.
Complete privacy yet only 8 minutes to downtown Stowe and 12.8 miles to Mt Mansfield. Only 2.5 miles from Sterling Gorge, Stowe’s relatively unknown natural wonder.
Sterling Gorge has a network of well-marked trails which are crossed by the Catamount Trail, the 300-mile-long ski trail that runs the length of the state of Vermont, and the VAST snowmobile trail. All of the trails are well marked.
