While red (sockeye) salmon do not run through the slough, the water is home to massive rainbow trout and dolly varden, making it a dream for fly fishing right off the dock. Or, if you'd rather explore, hire a local guide to pick you up at the dock for a day of fishing, sightseeing, or adventure on the main river.
