This remote mountain getaway is a Family Tradition! If you want to get away from it all, then you've found your perfect vacation home! Located inside the George Washington National Forest, this custom-built home is located in the heart of the mountains. The rustic, yet modern cabin accommodates 14 guests and has excellent WiFi, if you want to connect. The main level of this home features soaring, vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. The living room has a beautiful electric fireplace, and the large kitchen island provides plenty of counter space.

All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.
This home is located in a remote, rural area. If traveling in the winter to this home, 4 wheel drive is required. Be prepared for winter weather.
Only a few miles hike from the house to the crest of Shenandoah Mountain in the Allegheny Mountains in West Virginia.

Additional House Rules

Clean any spills up immediately.
No illegal substances.
No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.
Furniture should not be rearranged.
Please don't put food down the garbage disposal.
No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed.
If any items are unplugged from an outlet or device (like a TV), please be sure to plug it back in before checkout.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.
Turn off all lights when leaving the property.
Please read the checkout instructions on the refrigerator and in the Welcome Book. Note that checkout is at 10 AM.
Interior locked closets are off limits to guests.
Only registered guests are to be in the house.
Leave the doors and windows closed if the heat or AC is in use.
Trash must be taken to the dumpster near the house at check out.
A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed.
There is a Ring Doorbell Camera that records audio and video based on movement on the outside of the house.
Pet Rules:
-We are not able to host puppies under nine months old and/or any dog that is not housebroken.
-Pet waste needs to be cleaned up promptly and disposed of properly.
-Must be crated when in the house alone.
-Stay off all furniture.
-Must have advance notice of pet on property
-Can not be left alone outside.
