As you drive along the scenic CR 67, you approach our 1850's center entrance colonial home with 3 barns. Modernized for 21st Century living, upon entry you'll be welcomed by a large eat in kitchen and a cozy dining room. The layout is a large, family gathering type. The great room has a double sided fireplace: on one side is a competition quality pool table on the other, a media and game room with tons of board games and a brand new projector for 80" viewing pleasure with surround sound.
Take a walk up the hill and find fruit trees and a gorgeous sitting area to enjoy the view of Windham High Peak. Cross the quiet, streetlights country road and take a 10-minute hike to the inviting, basically private swimming hole in Catskill Creek where bald eagle sightings are no longer rare. You'll see great blue herons, Merganser ducks, diving kingfishers, and so much more. Walk down the scenic road to the K&K Ranch (1/4 mile away) where you can see farm animals and go horseback riding. Two miles in the opposite direction is the quaint village of Freehold, home to Ruby's Restaurant (Manhattan level dining from Chef Ana Sporer). Eleven miles northwest brings you to Heather Ridge Farms, with their Bees Knees cafe, the very definition of farm-to-table cuisine from Chef Rob Handel (known for featuring locally foraged delicacies).
