With an amazing view of Brant Lake from your gorgeous wraparound porch, it’ll be easy to slip into vacation mode from the moment you arrive at this sweet cabin, tucked into the trees. This secluded home is about a half mile to the shared beach on Brant Lake, and you’re surrounded by opportunities for hiking, biking, and just enjoying the natural scenery. Bolton Landing, with waterfront attractions on Lake George, is nearby, along with Great Escape/Six Flags at Lake George village. On hot summer days take a swim or have a picnic at the family-friendly shared private beach while your children enjoy the convenient playground. A slip at the dock located next to the beach can hold your small watercraft. Several restaurants are a quick drive away, and if you visit in the winter, Gore Mountain Ski Area is about 30 minutes away. The house is fully winterized, and Brant Lake freezes solid from early January every year, so winter sports are excellent, including ice fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling on the lake.
At home, start the day with coffee on the deck, and then step inside to the full kitchen to make some breakfast. You’ll find three floors of living space and amazing lake views from every level. After breakfast, grab a book and relax on the screened porch or enjoy the best view of all from the balcony off the main bedroom. Hardwood floors, lots of natural light, make the space feel extra cozy, no matter what time of year you visit.
After a day of exploration, relax at home with a board game, play a game of darts, or send the kids to the lower level to play with some of the thoughtfully provided toys. More entertainment options include free high-speed WiFi and two streaming-capable TVs. At the end of the day, sleep comes easy in any of the three well-appointed bedrooms.
