Clean, Quiet, Comfy Cottage located on Pleasant Pond in Richmond Maine. This is a rustic 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. 1 bedroom has 2 single beds, the other has a Queen Memory foam bed. The couch is a futon and will hold 1 comfy and a pull out cot. One bathroom has a tub and the other has a shower. There is a wood stove in the kitchen and a fireplace in living room that is NOT usable due to code. We do have an electric heater for heat in the cottage. We have installed a new walkway down to the water along with a nice new dock that you can fish from or sit back and relax overlooking the water. There is all different kinds of fish in the pond, Largemouth Bass, Pickeral, Crappies, A few Northern Pike are caught here n there. I have seen ( rarely) a brown trout and a few brook trout caught during the winter. Perch galore (White and Yellow). The water is not drinkable in the cottage and therefor you will want to bring drinking water. We do have a water cooler that takes 3 or 5 gallon water jugs.
We have a canoe and 2 kayaks that are included in the rental. We are 7 miles to Gardiner ( Hannaford grocery store). 12 Miles to Augusta. 30 Miles to Freeport. 50 miles to Portland. About a hour to the coast. Please email me with any questions.
