Unique hand-crafted wooden furniture made by the owners is in use throughout the house. Completely private - road and neighbors are not visible from the property. Come and watch sunset through forest trees from the comfort of a relaxing hot tub.
The space
Enter the house to a fully equipped kitchen with modern conveniences including a Breville coffee & espresso maker, air fryer, dishwasher and microwave. View the lush green of the forest through the wide bay window as you cook and socialize around the hand-crafted kitchen island.
The dining area has a fireplace and double heighted floor-to-ceiling windows across two walls, providing a view of the mountainside and looking out over the main decking and barbecue grill and patio furniture. A side lounge with a relaxing sofa, cookware and cocktail equipment also adjoins the kitchen space.
Below the main deck is a hot tub which comfortably seats 6 occupants at a time. We recommend you use the hot tub at sunset for amazing views in summer or winter, though it also can be used at any time of day.
A completely renovated basement makes for a semi-separated living area for a family of occupants, including a private bathroom and workspace near two sets of sliding doors which provide an excellent view of the mountain and sunsets. The basement also has a wood furnace and direct access to the hot tub without having to pass through the house.
Upstairs the master bedroom opens out to the curved-glass "sun room", an observation tower for the natural sights across the property. You will also find a cozy media room with sofas which seat 5 people along with a huge 4K Sony TV and Roku with remote for watching streaming content. Two additional sleeping quarters are available on this floor.
Each bedroom has high cotton-count linens and bedding provided. If the garden is going, you are welcome to any veggies that happen to be harvestable. Also enjoy a bonfire outside and feel free to use some of the chopped wood on property.
The home has keyless entry and you will receive a code to use for the door the day before your arrival. Our cleaner is exceptional and you will find the house sparkling.
A great way to spend a weekend is hiking the nearby Mohonk preserve, shopping fresh veggies from the Walkill Farms market, barbecuing dinner and getting into the hot tub for an evening soak. There are countless dining spots, restaurants and cafes nearby with exceptional views and experiences of the Hudson Valley.

The entire house and 13 acres of property are accessible with the exception of one closet upstairs that will be locked.
