This home, that sleeps 6 people, has 2.5 bathrooms, 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom and 1 bedroom with a convertible sleeper sofa.
The front porch and mudroom provide plenty of room for your winter gear. And the gorgeous dining area with seating for six has expansive windows that are perfect for watching the snowfall and welcome solar gain on a cold winter day. Enjoy socializing while you cook a delicious meal around the kitchen island and fix yourself a cocktail at the bar cart.
The outdoor living space is appointed with adirondack chairs, and dining table with chairs for enjoying alfresco meals during the warmer Vermont weather. In fact, the house sits perfectly for sitting in the adirondack chairs on a sunny, winter day to enjoy a cocktail while soaking up winter rays. In the summer, there is a floor mount AC unit for the master bedroom, ceiling fans in other rooms, but no central air AC.
The back of the house opens up to a beautiful field filled with tall grasses and wildflowers, welcoming in wildlife and birds for your viewing pleasure.
The Blue House is nestled up a special, scenic Vermont road which does not go far; it ends not far past the house at Mansfield Lake. This makes the location of the house extra special! Traffic is limited, and those driving along the road may be outnumbered by people riding snowbikes, mtn bikes and hiking, often times with additional hiking or backcountry snow gear heading to the trailheads just beyond the house that offer access to incredible vistas which can be reached by, wheels, skis/snowboards or on foot. Bottom line…this house is situated to guarantee unlimited backcountry fun as well as resort access just a short drive away.
