Dip your toes in the swimming hole or drop a line in the brook and catch some native trout. Make a day of shopping many small, unique area stores, attend an auction, Or just sit back and relax and listen to the water flowing over the rocks and with breeze whistling thru the tall trees....Laze around or have a picnic for 2 aside the brook: very private!! Rock climbing at it's very best in these parts, Rumney is well known for spectacular rock climbing! Situated on a state maintained, but very, very quiet, paved mountain road. House is large enough to sleep 8, and cozy enough for just 2. Well appointed kitchen, linens and towels provided. Come lower your blood pressure, get away from it all and relax. Welcome to Groton!
