The simple seaside style will melt all of your cares away as you sip on your Mai Tai in the cool shade of the deep, covered lanai. Experience the feel of being in another place in another time. All beds are fitted with comfy mattress toppers & the master bed has a 2 inch memory foam topper for a peaceful, cozy nights sleep! Close to Kailua Pier where the fishing is fine and the canoe races begin! IronMan start and finish is nearby. Summary: Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for the week, three adults and two kids ages 9 & 7. We had a wonderful time! The location is secure via a monitored security gate. The house is very inviting with plenty of comfortable places to lounge both inside and outside in the shade of the veranda. The pool is large and the kids had fun with all of the pool toys. Our beds were comfortable and nicely appointed. We loved the fact of no air-conditioning. There are fans in every room and at night we were very comfortable sleeping. No AC made it easier to acclimate to the weather and with the windows always open we enjoyed the constant sound of the birds and the ocean! Mornings we walked over to the lagoon for wading, exploring and snorkeling, plenty to do. Just minutes from town, the house is in a great location. The home is clean and well stocked with towels, linens, etc. The kitchen has all the equipment you need for home cooked/grilled meals. There is no pantry, so no spices, no salt & pepper are available. Coffee maker with filters (thank you) and blender worked great. I liked how the management staff checked in with me a few times via text, making sure all was well. They were very nice and responded quickly to my few requests. I would highly recommend this Hawaiian home to my friends and family, especially those seeking the peace of a quaint sanctuary.
