From this house, you can enjoy any of the three ski resorts, nordic ski centers, and access an extensive network of multi-use trails coveted by locals, either by a short drive or bike ride. The house is just a 5 to 10 minute drive to Sugarbush's Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen mountains and Mad River Glen, making it a perfect location for skiers, hikers, bikers, or anyone who just loves to sit by a cozy fire and watch the sun set behind the mountains.
The house is very remote-work friendly, with fast internet connection, and office work spaces.
The property is located within a 5 minute drive of the village center, and an organic farm where you can pick your own blueberries, and get incredible local delicacies. The home is tastefully decorated with plenty of seating, and entertainment for the whole family. The secluded hillside yard features a fire-pit to enjoy wonderful mountain evenings. This is a gem of a retreat in the heart of the Green Mountains.
An AWD/4WD vehicle, or dependable vehicle with good tires is strongly recommended, and AWD/4WD is REQUIRED during the winter months.
There is very little public transportation in the Mad River Valley. All our guest typically drive at least one or more vehicles.
