Welcome to the Owls’ Nest, a classic chalet with modern updates located in the highly desirable Lake Harmony Estates. All the wonders of the Poconos can be enjoyed from this quiet and family friendly four season retreat.
Fully stocked with sheets, towels, soft blankets and ready for your getaway! The “Nest” features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and spans over 1,700 square feet. A full kitchen, 2 wood burning fireplaces, hot tub and outdoor oasis are just some of the amenities you will enjoy.
The space
CONTEMPORARY CABIN LIVING
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the living and dining areas with natural sunlight. Soaring vaulted ceilings add to the light and airy feeling. A stone electric fireplace adds warmth and coziness. Part rustic mountain cabin and part stylish modern getaway. Curl up here in the evenings with a glass of wine next to the warmth from the fireplaces. This is the mountains, so you'll be tempted to use the fireplace year-round.
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals for a large group. There is ample room at the dining room table with seating for 8. Pour yourself a glass of wine from one of the Poconos' local vineyards (we love Mountain View Winery) as you whip up something delicious! There’s a gas BBQ just outside on the spacious deck where you can grill year-round. If cooking isn’t your thing there are several dining options less than 1.5 miles away. Down a short hallway, two well-designed bedrooms offer plenty of peace and privacy. The first bedroom has a king-size bed while the second bedroom is appointed with 2 twins. A full bathroom rounds out the accommodations on the top floor.
Heading downstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms and an additional full bathroom. The first bedroom contains two separate twin-over-full bunk beds which kids will love. The remaining bedroom has a queen size bed.
The last room in the house is a fun filled family room on the lower level. Here you have a pool table, flat screen tv, books, board games and movies at your disposal.
With two young children of our own we understand the “joy” of travelling with youngsters. To that end we offer a pack-n-play, high chair and children’s books and games. We even supply bubble bath for when the little ones need to get cleaned up after a long day at the beach or hiking.
CLASSIC MOUNTAIN LAKE MAGIC
The backyard fire pit and porch swing create the perfect setting for roasting gooey s’ mores under the string lights and stars. When the sun is out round up four people to play a competitive game of Corn Hole or Kan Jam.
When your crew is ready to go exploring, the sandy shores of Lake Harmony are steps away from your front door. Your whole family will love swimming, fishing, and soaking up the sunshine.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire home along with the wooded yard and fire pit. Activity seekers will have Lake harmony, two ski mountains and lots of hiking trails at your disposal . There's a lot to explore right outside your front door!
