COVID-19 changed everything, including The Wigwam Western Summit and we decided to offer our cabin guests not a vacation but a different way of living where they can reconnect with themselves and their loved ones in an environment where they can relax without choosing to interact with anyone and yet taken care of in every way.
What you are booking is a slice of the Berkshires, with a cabin in the woods thrown in. You get an outdoor living room, a firepit, an outdoor dining area with a private picnic table, a hammock and a park-style charcoal grill.
We have created the “Cabin Concierge Service" because we believe vacations will change – guests will appreciate services being done without personal interaction. We can setup your firepit, clean and stock your grill and deliver cakes, wine, hot meals and sushi to the cabin in picnic baskets.
We also have three other cabins on the summit and they are all available on airbnb. They are the Pocumtuck, Wampanoag and Mohawk Cabins. All cabins have similar setups - all have amazing views of America's Switzerland, access to our private trail system, private firepit/BBQ/picnic areas, a hammock and your own self contained tiny home.
Our summit property borders hundreds of acres of protected land, outdoor showers, firepit, rock gardens, hammocks, hummingbirds, owls, lightning bugs, butterflies and beautiful sunsets. Each cabin is a separate house and has heat and air condition. Instead of a gym we have miles and miles of trails, instead of a pool, the cold river, deerfield river and swimming holes in Savoy State Park are nearby.
The best part about staying at the Wigwam Cabin is the food. Lea is an award winning cook (has won local chowder competitions) and we have a sushi chef, two bakers and a chocolatier working for us. Meals are ordered in advance and delivered to the cabins in picnic baskets. Celebrating a special occasion? Our baker can make you a low sugar Black Forest or carrot cake delivered to your cabin. Sushi at sunset? Can do!
Cabin guests are also invited to use the charcoal bbq grill, the stump table, the Perch Bar table and you can enjoy your very own firepit and a private picnic area. Pamper yourself with Wigwam's Cabin Concierge service and Wayne setup your firepit and stock it with enough split wood for the evening! You just need to show up.
