Come and stay at this lake side getaway with a full kitchen, 3 beds, 2 baths and your very own pirate ship. Perfect for families looking for private waterfront enjoyment with a sandy shallow beach and plenty of kayaks and a paddle boat to explore Locke Lake. Build sand castles on the 40 ft beach with partial shade from a beautiful maple tree. Then battle imaginary pirates aboard the play structure and swingset - perfect for wearing out even the most energetic of kids. Looking for something a little more advanced? Ask about renting our sunfish sailboat or fishing boats. After a day of swimming, fishing, and exploring, walk up the hill and enjoy some r&r in our screened in porch as burgers roast on the outdoor propane grille. Listen to the loons and watch the fire flies as the summer breeze cools you off. After dark, build a fire in the fire pit for s’mores under the stars. Property is equipped with all normal amenities including a washer and dryer, sand castle making toys, and wifi for WFL (work from lake). Just make sure not to show your coworkers what a great time you’re having!

Parking and accessibility
Location has a large driveway on site with room for 3-4 cars (perhaps more but you'd be blocked in). It's a single floor residence with two steps from the front stone path into the path. It is situated on a hill down to the beach (shown in photos). There are stairs descending from the back porch down to the grass. Those with limited mobility may find it easier to walk around the side of the house down to the beach.

Play Structures
Private pirate ship play structure and swing set - the neighbors' grandchildren sometimes use it as well - if this makes you uncomfortable I can ask them to refrain from using during your stay.
Utilities and Climate Control
Two mini splits help heat and cool the home to your desire. (Additionally, as someone who lived in the house for 30 years without the wonders of air conditioning, the home tends to stay cool if the windows/shades are closed during the day and open at night. Take in the cool lake air as nature's air conditioning! But I digress ).
