The area is mainly very quiet, with only some distant road noise to break the silence or occasionally interrupt the calls of the loons. The proximity (~10min walk on gravel backroads) to Kezar Lake was another highlight. The canoeing was great, and bowling in the vintage alley in the clubhouse was also a delightful surprise.
