An updated farmhouse in the popular town of Hyde Park features ample acreage, 3 bedrooms, a chef's kitchen, a comfortable entertaining room, and charming rustic touches throughout. A fun recreation space in the barn will entertain the family with exercise equipment, Smart TV with streaming capabilities, and a ping pong table.
*If you would like to bring a dog, you *must* add it to the reservation under the # of guests section upon booking. One dog is allowed per reservation unless otherwise approved by the host (please send us a message). Sorry, we do not allow cats.
*This house does NOT currently have a backup generator.
You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.
With “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

- Routinely scheduled maintenance by Home Sweet Hudson team members or lawn care/snow plowing may happen during your stay. This also includes garbage pick up, linen pickup, hot tub service, and pool cleanings.
- Parking shall be allowed solely in the designated parking spaces
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited
- Please adhere to safety instructions for fireplaces, firepits, etc.
- Due to the risk of fire, please do not charge your electric car on the property.
- We do not allow parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the reservation. We also ask you to follow the good neighbor guidelines and abide by quiet hours after 9 pm.
- Please do not trespass on property boundaries
- Ticks, bugs, and wildlife are a regular part of Upstate, NY. Tick prevention sprays for yards are very toxic to animals and pets, so we do not use them. Please be mindful of checking yourself when spending time outside.
- Tents, yurts, and other camping equipment are prohibited

The house has 2.5 bathrooms, with one bath tub available.
FOR KIDS:
2 Pack N Plays are available, one in primary bedroom closet and one in the middle bedroom closet. Linens for those can be found in the linen closet in primary bedroom closet. A high chair is available in the laundry room.
KITCHEN:
Full chef's kitchen with quartz countertops (please do not put hot items on it as it will crack!), Oxo coffee maker, fridge with filtered water and ice in the door, plenty of pots and pans for you to cook with.
KITCHEN OFFICE:
There is a wireless printer, external monitor, bluetooth keyboard/mouse/webcam, and desk lamp available.
LIVING ROOM/DEN:
Board games, Smart TV you can plug in your streaming accounts, Queen sized sleeper soda, and fireplace available. Please see guidebook on instructions for this wood burning fireplace.
BARN REC ROOM:
A large recreation area in the barn is available for you with gym/workout equipment (treadmill, weight bench, light weights, yoga mats), a Smart TV with Hulu/Netflix, and a full sized a ping pong table.
Note: The barn is NOT insulated, so it is very hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
OUTDOORS:
Lawn games are available (corn hole and bocce)
Propane grill and grill tools available for you
Note: We have regularly scheduled lawn mowing and care, please do not be alarmed if you see them mow in spring/summer months.
