About this space:Come stay on our bucolic 1700's Tobacco Plantation. Our estate offers the convenience of rental accommodations with an element of history and adventure! Our peaceful country oasis is the perfect romantic getaway for an escape from city life. Wake up to the serene sounds of nature and have coffee under hundred year old oaks. Hike the trails on our property, visit with our animals or head out vineyard hopping at a few local wineries. We are a short drive from interstate 95 and 85.The space:Pastoral views and sounds of farm life. One bedroom with a queen sized bed and freshly clean sheets, full bathroom, tiled walk-in shower, kitchen with refrigerator, stove top oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, toaster, and four complete setting of plates glasses, cups and silver flatware, and all cooking utensils and pots and pans. Wall mounted Smart TV with Amazon Fire Stick so you can access your favorite shows via Netflix, Amazon Prime or Youtube. Nicely furnished with leather sofa, four seat cafe-style dining table, and wireless internet. Ceiling fans in every room. Remote operated Gas log fireplace in living room. Great natural lighting in every room as well as french doors throughout. The front porch has two ceiling fans and wicker furniture for sitting. There is also a two seater cafe style table and chairs on the front porch as well. On the back deck there is a gas grill with a full set of grilling utensils. Propane provided. Umbrellas for shade and a patio table that seats four.Miles of walking trails in the back with creeks that run adjacent to our mineral springs throughout our property. Say hello to our animals-We are home to many exotic chickens, Pygmy goats, dairy goats, mini pigs, horses and many Great Pyrenees.Note: We have a variety of gorgeous, exotic chickens that produce the most delicious eggs. You are welcome to purchase them by the dozen $6 or half dozen $3. Let the host know if you wish to purchase eggs during your stay!Guest access:Free parking right beside the unit. If you need boat, RV or Trailer parking there is space for that as well.Other things to note:While you are here be sure to check out our miles of hiking and walking trails located in the back of the property. Feel free to say hello to our animals along the way. We have many exotic chickens, Pygmy goats, dairy goats, a micro pig named Charlotte, two horses and many Great Pyrenees. You can also feel free to picnic on the property under the oaks as you drive in. It's one of our favorite things to do!
