Our guest house is a private getaway that is perfect for your family vacation. With three bedrooms and three baths, there is plenty of space to unwind after fishing and sightseeing. We have just about everything you need for overnight stays with your young ones. Only three miles from town and four miles from the Spit and walking distance to cafes, coffee shops and a winery. Tucked into a mix of birch and spruce trees, you'll appreciate the privacy and a peek-a-boo view of the bay and mountains.
Space
The guest house has two large bedrooms upstairs, one attached to a nook that has a crib, changing table, and baby toys available. The downstairs has another bedroom that has many toys for young children tucked into the closet for easy access. There are three bathrooms, one full with a jacuzzi tub and a custom tile shower. The other two are .5 baths (no shower or tub). The kitchen has just about everything you need to cook up the day's catch. Listen to the birds on one of the two back decks while barbecuing up the day's catch. For dining, there is a three person bar and a six person dining room table. There is also a television connected to a firestick and a bluetooth speaker/soundbar. The woodstove and soapstone backing really give the downstairs a warm feel. It's perfect for those rainy days that are not so uncommon in Alaska in the summer.
We are here to help on an as needed basis. We are happy to recommend fishing and bear viewing charters, rainy day activities, etc.
We are located a block from tennis courts and a small playground. The East End bike path is also close by. There are great places to eat & drink nearby.
