At the Rusty Compass Retreat you will find all of the comforts that you are looking for! A new build in 2016 has an elegant Rustic flare to it, with "Rust" used in all of the accents! 2 bedrooms on the main floor with a queen sized bed in each, and a loft with 2 twin sized beds. The bathroom has an amazing earthy tiled, and very roomy shower. On demand hot water, so after a day of any activity you can rest assured that you can cleanse the day off of you and relax in the large living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with an apron front copper sink, full sized refrigerator and stove, and plenty of counter space. We provide you with clean towels and linens, complimentary soap and shampoo, and all that you will need in the kitchen.
The wrap around porch has views of Magalloway Mountain, downtown Pittsburg, and the smaller mountains as a backdrop, with a gas grill if you prefer to cook outside.
We are located about 200 yards from snowmobile trail 128, about a 1/2 mile from the Junction of 20/128, with direct access through the back of the property, and 1/2 mile from a great stretch of fishing on the Connecticut River. ATV access is not direct, but there is plenty of room to park your trailers, and plenty of room to unload your snowmobiles with our horseshoe driveway.
We built this log home with our own hands, entirely with lots of love and care, and that will reflect immediately when you walk through the door.
