Life is better with a little sand between your toes and beautiful sunset views! The Lake House on beautiful Lake Missaukee in Northern Michigan! This Cape Cod home offers lake access to a shared beach. The docks are for private use and are not included in the rental. Lake Missaukee is a 1,880-acre all-sports lake with sandy shorelines, beautiful beaches, parks, campgrounds, a sandbar, and a city dock to park your boat and enjoy the town. All-season fun! This well-maintained home features three large bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a fully functional kitchen, an island bar, and stainless steel appliances. The dining room has French doors that lead to the spacious back deck with a hot tub, outdoor dining, and a gas fireplace to sit and enjoy the views of the lake. In the living room, enjoy cathedral ceilings with large window dormers and a stone gas log fireplace with a twisted root hearth for cooler nights. Upstairs is the office loft and two guest bedrooms. The oversized two-car garage offers an entertainment area with TV and games to round out this vacation paradise.
Across the road is access to the beach area. The beach area is public, but the docks are for private use only. There is space to anchor a boat in the water by the dock/beach area across the road from the house. Contact us to discuss if you will be bringing a boat to anchor.
The Lake House is also a cozy destination for winter sporting events, such as ice fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing, with several ski resorts in northern Michigan and warm up in the evening by the indoor fireplace or in the hot tub on the back deck!
