Crab, sunbathe, fish and swim off the end of the dock, or bring your own boat (sand covered boat launch on the property) to explore miles of wildlife refuge waters. We provide canoes, paddleboards and kayaks, and there are beautiful tributaries off of the river that will allow you to observe the wildlife on the Chesapeake Bay up close! Herons, eagles, osprey, owls, geese, ducks and loons are commonly spotted. Local fishing or charters from Crisfield for Tangier and Chesapeake bay area available for deep sea fishermen. The property is very secluded - perfect for family reunions, weddings, corporate retreats, or large group vacations. See the sunrise in the front of the house over the river, and the sun set from the back of the house over the marsh. Upper and lower decks on both the front and the back of the house allow gatherings for meals, stargazing and bird watching. The large family room/kitchen combination also provide excellent space to linger over coffee in the morning as the sun rises. Salisbury is a 30 minute drive with shopping, restaurants, minor league ball park, Salisbury University, and an exotic wildlife zoo! Picturesque Berlin and Snow Hill and also fun places to visit.
