Welcome to The Princess of the Gorge Tucked in the historical town of Jim Thorpe, this Victorian replica was handmade with love and Meticulously thoughtful design. The property is back a tranquil private Road and when you pull up to the Home, you will be pleasantly surprised of how Enchanted this home is. There is plenty of parking, a beautiful Yard, cozy front porch to relax on overlooking the woods. An Oversized heated built in pool. A six person hot tub, and a cozy outdoor fire pit. There is a large grill and smoker for your use. When you step inside the home, you will feel all the comfort and coziness of home. It is only a short walk or bike ride to historic downtown Jim Thorpe. We look forward to you being our guests, this home is off the beaten path and crowded streets of downtown Jim Thorpe. The train ride is beautiful! And also don’t forget to visit the Asa Packer Mansion, Mauch Chunk Opera House, Wild Elder Wine & Cider Co, The Old Jail Museum, Muggle’s Mug - the Harry Potter Cafe for a great cup of coffee or butter, beer, and there’s so many amazing little shops and specialty stores to explore. Don’t forget to check out Kemmerer Memorial Park located on the wooded hillside overlooking the Lehigh River and historic downtown Jim Thorpe, Kemmerer Memorial Park is the town’s hidden gem. Also, not too far away is Penn’s Peak which has entertainment and a nice bar and restaurant.
