Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley on a quiet country road, this house features a private, space at the back of a unique house built in 1789.
Surrounded by trees and nature, it makes for a perfect relaxed setting, with access to your own private deck and back yard. A short walk to enjoy Hunns Lake and close to the Buttercup Sanctuary, Stissing Mountain trails, Pine Plains and Millbrook villages. 25 minutes drive to Rhinebeck and a 40 minute drive to Hudson, both great places to visit for the day for shopping and eating. It’s the ideal retreat for a peaceful country getaway.
The Space...
The space features a beautiful sunroom that gives lots of light and looks out onto a secluded garden surrounded by trees.
Each bedroom has a queen bed so it’s perfect for up to 2 couples. The 2nd bedroom can also be used as an office space! Desk and office chair are available upon request.
Granola, bread and free range eggs are provided to make breakfast for the first couple of days.
Includes all amenities to cook including large fridge-freezer, microwave, oven and stove, electric hot water kettle, coffee machine, toaster, pots and pans, etc. Tea bags and freshly ground coffee are also provided. There is a grill available to use outside on the deck.
Surrounded by trees and nature - you will hear lots of birds and if you wake up early will sometimes spot deer in the garden. The neighbors have goats, chickens and a donkey so you will also sometimes hear the sound of farm animals.
Other things to note...
This location is not suitable for any parties, loud gatherings or loud music.
It's very peaceful here and the guest suite is joined to the main house which is lived in.
If you like to play loud music this location is not a good option!
