Welcome to Canyon View Cabin, a charming retreat nestled in the tall pines, just 1.9 miles or a short 6-minute drive from downtown Prescott. This delightful 2-level, 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin comfortably accommodates six guests with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa.
As you descend the spiral staircase to the lower level, fully carpeted bedrooms await, bright and airy with views to the east, south, and west. The first bedroom features a Smart TV for streaming movies and shows, while the second bedroom opens to the lower deck with a small patio set. A full bath with a double vanity and tub/shower combination, as well as a washer/dryer, complete the lower level. We have added A/C to both lower bedrooms as well as main floor.
Perched on a gently sloped lot, Canyon View Cabin offers impressive views of the southern canyon and the sprawling Ponderosa pine forest. The wrap-around deck, adorned with comfortable patio furniture and a dining table, invites outdoor dining and relaxation. The main floor showcases the original log cabin walls built in 1957, providing a rustic and warm ambiance. The living room features a stone, wood-burning fireplace, a large wagon wheel light fixture, and large windows offering forest views. The great room layout includes an 8-seat dining room table and a modern kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and even a dishwasher. A propane grill on the deck ensures BBQing convenience.
