Beaver Bend Lodge is the second property offered by Sheldrake Luxury Rentals (see Sheldrake Farmhouse, VRBO Property ID 1089858). The Lodge is a brand new, single level, luxury-appointed home located in Old Forge, New York. Location is less than one mile from Thendara Train Station on the southern edge of Old Forge Village (aka Thendara, NY). The Lodge is convenient to all amenities in the Old Forge area, including a five minute walk to Thendara Train Station, Steakhouse Restaurant, TOBIE Trail, Lock & Dam Trail as well as Nick’s Lake walking trail system. Old Forge shopping and restaurants are a short 1.5 mile walk or bike ride through the quaint back streets of the village.
Beaver Bend Lodge's location on the southern end of Old Forge Village provides a perfectly private spot to relax and enjoy recreation and wildlife in the Adirondack Mountains while a quick, convenient 5 minute ride to all necessities. Included with your rental fee is access to 2 canoes , 2 paddle boards and our private dock for easy paddling access to the Moose River. The screen porch is equipped with a wood burning fireplace (including fires starting logs and wood), 55” smart TV and plenty of comfortable furniture to enjoy the wildlife diversity of the Moose River. The stamped concrete patio is a sunny spot to relax in an Adirondack chair and soak up the natural beauty.
The Lodge itself provides luxurious accommodations for the most discriminating guest.
The kitchen is appointed with Wolf/Sub Zero appliances, Sharp microwave drawer, Breville toaster oven and all manner of brand new equipment to prepare a snack or gourmet meal. Restoration Hardware furniture and lighting are complimented by custom artwork to ensure a unique, memorable vacation. The open concept kitchen, dining, living room ensures plenty of seating for all guests to mingle as well as providing space for private relaxation.
After a day spent paddling, hiking, boating, shopping and exploring; the Lodge is a peaceful, private haven for rest and relaxation. Three guest bedrooms are furnished with king size beds outfitted in the highest quality natural fiber linens. Each bedroom boasts an en suite bathroom outfitted with enough towels to accommodate all guests.
Bedroom 1 is the largest and its en suite bath features a custom, walk-in double shower with stunning views of the Moose River from two large windows.
Bedroom 2 has north and south views of the Moose River as well as the wood burning fireplace on the screen porch. Its en suite bathroom has a custom, walk-in single shower.
Bedroom 3 has wooded views as well as an en suite bathroom with custom, walk-in single shower. If you look closely, you can see trees felled by the local beaver family.
The Lodge was designed with a Powder Room bath conveniently located near the laundry room for all guests to share.
Due to the luxury furnishings and appointments at the Lodge, it is not suitable for guests under 12 years of age. Please contact Owner to discuss infants that will be 9 months or younger at time of reservation.
