Charming nature retreat on sixteen acres of mixed wildlife habitats - and two rescue ponies! The spacious cabin has all the basic amenities, including a desk and high speed WiFi.
The cabin is split into two beautiful mirror image suites at ground level with separate entrances, both of which are used for guest stays. (Listed and booked separately.) Each one has an open living area and kitchen, a full bathroom, a bedroom, and a large loft space which doubles as a second bedroom and also includes an Ikea desk for remote work. There is WiFi throughout the house, including on the porch.
Guests are welcome to explore the land. There are mowed paths around the meadows, and a wildlife pond near the house.
The covered porch is huge, overlooks the pony pasture, and faces east. Early risers can drink their coffee while taking in the sunrise over the distant hills. The porch has chairs and two picnic tables to enjoy some fresh air even on rainy days.
My two rescue dogs and I also live here, so I am usually available on the premises.
Location is also home to a nonprofit animal sanctuary - guests may meet our two ponies and chickens, and learn more if interested.
