Centrally located 17 miles south of Seneca Falls, and 24 miles north of Ithaca, your shopping and entertainment choices are abundant. Parking is conveniently located in the rear, and a level lawn for family fun is located just out front between the lake and beach. Blue Heron Drive sits right on the water and there are 52 steps leading to 150 feet of natural beach and a private, permanent dock.
Entering Blue Heron Lodge, you will find that the ambiance of a luxury log cabin doesn't just stop at the door. Immediately inside the entry, you will find the stairs to the master loft suite. This loft houses a queen size bed, full bathroom with garden bathtub and separate shower, and unforgettable views of Cayuga Lake. Returning to the lower level, the open floor plan of the great room offers a great place for the family to gather and relax indoors. Blue Heron Lodge boasts a thoroughly modern and up to date kitchen with superior appliances and ample amenities. The foodie and chef of your family are sure to be equally pleased by the kitchen amenities!
Down the hallway will bring you to the two bedrooms, and second full bath with a clawfoot tub. An additional loft area overlooking the common areas features a double bed and three singles. Each room is decorated with the appeal of lakeside living, and sure to add comfort to your stay here in the Finger Lakes.
The lower level of this grand home features a fitness area and additional living area with leather sofas and smart tv for guests to utilize. A third bathroom with a shower can also be found in this section of Blue Heron Lodge.
Are you ready to enjoy the great outdoors? Blue Heron Lodge has both a spacious deck facing the lake, and a covered side deck. There is also a fully screened porch and dining area with comfortable sitting furniture, great for enjoying your glass of wine or morning coffee. A propane BBQ will get the family outside to enjoy the views during meal time, or take a picnic lunch at the lakeside picnic table. While you are down there, make sure to take full advantage of the all-natural lake frontage, which is excellent for swimming, or for small children to play in the shallows.
