Welcome to Big Pine Cottage. Making memories is easy here. Life slows down at the lake. Come relax around the fire pit at the water’s edge. Catch fish from your very own private dock. 100+ feet of water frontage provides a great space to swim and relax. Explore the lake on our 4 person commercial grade peddle boat (the unsinkable kind. Not plastic.) We also have 2 sit in style kayaks (a tandem kayak and a one person kayak) and various size life jackets for your use. Enjoy the screened porch overlooking the lake.
This charming lake home offers one level of living with 1300 sq/ft of living space.
The spacious main bedroom has a king bed and large ensuite bathroom. Relax in a large corner soaking tub. There’s a separate corner spa shower with jets, rain shower or handheld options.
In the second bedroom you’ll find two single beds, a Roku smart tv, dresser and closet.
The living room sofa pulls out to a comfy queen size bed. Complete with a gel memory foam mattress. Fresh linens and pillows can be found in the twin bedroom closet.
Both bedrooms and the living room have a Roku smart tv so please bring your login to stream your favorite apps. Please note we do not have cable tv at the lake house but do have fast reliable internet.
Linens and towels are provided for your stay as well as lake towels.
The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo and a washer/dryer.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities needed to cook throughout your stay. There’s an electric full size oven, large microwave, 4 slice toaster, drip coffee maker, dinnerware and utensils. Groceries are just a 6 minute drive down the road at Market Basket or Walmart.
The dining area is open to the living room with a spacious table with lake views through the large slider door.
There’s a small home office off of the dining area if you need a quiet space to work or to relax and read a book. You’ll find a game collection in the cubby space.
There’s a private dock for your use where you’ll find swim floats, a commercial grade peddle boat, a tandem kayak and a single seat kayak (both kayaks are sit in style). There are various size life jackets hanging under the porch but please bring your own children’s life jackets to make sure there’s a proper fit.
A bbq grill is conveniently located close to the kitchen. Propane provided.
Must be able to walk up and down stairs to access the lake and patio area. There’s a set of 9 steps to get down to the patio and 2 more shorter sets of stairs to get down to the lake or dock area.
The end of the driveway is shared with the cabin next door and must remain unblocked at all times.
There’s parking for up to 3 vehicles in front of the garage and fence. If additional parking is needed please let us know and we can make arrangements. There’s no parking on the side of the road due to lack of space on the private lake community roads.
There are outdoor security cameras on site that actively record video and sound 24/7. More specifically on the garage to oversee the parking area and the front door of the cottage.
No more than 6 registered guests allowed on the property. No unregistered guests allowed at any time.
Exceeding the parking or guest limit will result in a $250 fee and you will be asked to leave without refund.
No late check out without obtaining approval directly with host (Alyssa). If you stay past checkout without approval there will be a fee of $250 to compensate for lost cleaning time.
Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum when enjoying the outdoor amenities after hours. Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. We are local responsive hosts and want to make sure you as well as our neighbors have quiet enjoyment while at the lake.
