Positive: Appliances and kitchen except for can opener all there and in good functioning shape. There was no can opener. We bought one for $10, so no big deal. Very roomy. Beds were comfortable, with all linens and towels provided. Good outdoor access from just about every room. The outdoor shower was great!

Negative: There was no beach access. At least one of the upstairs showers leaked through to the floor below, and we noted that this had been noted by a previous tenant. The stairs and railings were frail and shaky. There was no house number and we got almost ten Amazon packages addressed to someone named Veronika Bernstein with the correct house address. The so-called “Bay View” was very limited, even from the upstairs balconies. Nowhere near oall of the wall electrical outlets worked. Luckily we did not need the advertised parking space for six cars, as there was only space for two. Finally, the price was highly inflated. At $10,000 per week, this house was the most expensive we had ever rented on Cape Cod in 40 years, and with its lack of beach access (a first!) oand state of repair, the one that should have cost less than half the price. For a $100,000 investment in improvements, the house could be turned into a much better stay, and for that rental price, it should be spent ASAP.

Summary: It was adequate for someone desperate for a house in Truro at the last minute when all others nearby
