The Anchorage Cottage at Fishermen’s Cove is a wonderfully-appointed waterfront jewel located at the very end of the Pine Point Peninsula at Fishermen’s Cove, on the beautiful Scarborough River. It is adjacent to Fishermen's Cove Cottage listed on VRBO at https://www.vrbo.com/2006331. We offer weekly rentals from May to November.

DESCRIPTION
The Anchorage Cottage is the last dwelling before the Fishermen's Pier at Pine Point Harbor. The cottage is just steps from a small sandy beach on the Scarborough River and the Scarborough River Estuary - one of Maine's most beautiful locations and, at 3,000 square acres, the largest salt marsh in Maine. To the east the cottage is bordered by Kids Cove, a delightful inlet with a gorgeous sandy bed, and to the west are unobstructed views of stunning summer sunsets and the vast Scarborough Marsh. The cottage is almost all glass on three sides on the cozy first floor open concept with a small kitchen, pantry, and living area. The two bedrooms on the second floor have incredible views of the Harbor, and there is a full bathroom with tub, and washer-dryer on the second floor. There is also an outdoor patio area with furniture for 12 and easy access to the very private small riverside beach. The famous 3-mile Pine Point Beach on the ocean side of Pine Point is a very short walk. There are several excellent restaurants within one mile, Portland is 20 minutes away and Old Orchard Beach is a five minute drive or 20 minute walk down the 7-mile stretch of the finest beach in Maine.
We offer weekly rentals with check-in on Saturdays at 12:00 NOON and check out on Fridays at 3:00 pm. (or as late as you want. We also offer staying over Friday night if guests choose, as long as they can check out by 6:30 am. That is when the cleaning company arrives. (No charge for the extra night). Deep cleaning is on Saturday morning.
The weekly rate is calculated using 6 night stay. A discount is offered for Veterans. We accept a waiting and cancellation list.
Our cottage is kid-friendly, pet-friendly and promises you a wonderful stay. If you have young children, you may want to bring your own safety devices, or make arrangements for baby safety rentals.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR GUESTS WITH PHYSICAL CHALLENGES: unfortunately The Anchorage Cottage is not fully accessible to wheelchairs. There are two steps for the entry and, the one large full bath, washer & dryer, and all bedrooms are on the second floor (except the sleep sofa). For guests who have physical challenges, please talk it over with the owner to see if individual needs can be met.
We are very well-equipped. Please plan for your own linens and towels.
