Abrams Creek Guest House is an affordable getaway set in a hemlock forest next to a spectacular mountain stream, with many natural attractions nearby. We offer shared kitchen facilities for you to bring and prepare your own food. The Space We have six guest rooms in our Lodge Guest House. The rooms are clean and simple, with comfortable beds. Room L4 has a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Rooms can be rented individually, or the entire lodge house can be rented for groups. Abrams Creek is near many extraordinary recreational sites, but is also its own destination. You are never far from our wild, whitewater stream that runs through a majestic hemlock forest. In some places, the stream is a constant source of energy and playfulness; in other places, it is peaceful and calming, inviting you to soak in its beauty. The forest offers a vast array of plants, and signs of wildlife are everywhere. Guest Access 20 acres of hemlock forest and a wild whitewater stream. Full access to all common spaces including full kitchen access, living room, and rec room. We also have an open deck and a covered deck with full view of the stream, a large open yard with hammocks, picnic tables, a bonfire area, and an outdoor grill. Washer/Dryer at $4 per load -- we supply the detergent. Interaction with Guests Guests are welcome to interact with hosts as they choose or be as private and secluded as they wish to be. Other Things to Note We have a variety of accommodations, including a room with private bath for $15 more per night, a hostel room that can sleep up to 8, rustic cabins, and a separate 2-BR retreat cottage. You are most welcome to bring your own food for any or all meals. Full cooking facilities are available to all our guests. Our usual check in time is 3PM; you may check in anytime after 3 pm until 10 pm, or later by arrangement. Our usual check out time is noon.
