Located on the beautiful Satilla River, this spacious lodge cabin home sitting on 3 acres, is the perfect place for quiet gatherings, retreats, and getaways! The home is nestled next to the river where you can fish right out of the back yard or put your boat in using the private ramp just 100 yards from the house.
Entering by a long gravel driveway, which leads to the secluded 4 BR/3 BA home with a curved staircase to the front door. The main living space includes an antique brick fireplace, cozy seating and a large smart tv. With an open floor plan you enter the dining room, enough seating for 6 people, with a gorgeous view of the river. The dining space extends out to the back porch which includes a bench swing, a loveseat, and an outdoor dining table that hosts 4 people comfortably. The main level kitchen has everything you need to cook for a crowd: plenty of counter space, a large fridge, double ovens, and of course a keurig coffee maker. On the main floor, one bedroom has a kingsize bed that has access to the back patio. The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and a twin bunk bed. Between the two bedrooms is a large full bathroom with a walk in shower.
Accessing the loft area, is a hand-made cypress tree spiral staircase, leading to two rooms: one with a king sized bed with a full bathroom and the other, a game room with a pullout couch. There is a second hand-made spiral staircase that leads to a ground level studio-like apartment, with a queen bed, full bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area. The ground floor kitchen is fully equipped, including a large window which converts the space into an indoor/outdoor experience with high top seating in the screened in porch. This is the perfect atmosphere to host in the outdoors without all the bugs!
The great outdoors is the best feature of the property. Guests have access to 2 canoes, 2 kayaks, 2 fishing poles and a boat ramp for adventuring on the river. Clean your fresh catch, cook on a brand new BBQ grill, and enjoy the rest of the day sitting by the fire pit or on the spacious back porch. Enjoy nature at its best in this unique cabin on the river!
