Positive: This is my 3rd time visiting SXM in a year so I’m a bit familiar with the country. The property is located in the Simpson/ Cole Bay Area, which was great. It’s located within walking distance of restaurants, bars and the beach. The owners were very responsive. The apartment was clean. The surrounding areas were quiet at night. As a solo traveler, safety is extremely important. The property is surrounded by a security fence. I often walked from the apartment to the main strip at night and felt completely safe.

Negative: The bed was a bit more firm than I prefer so it was difficult to sleep. Not a huge deal but the apartment entry is set up like a hotel rather than an apartment meaning when you enter the apartment, you’re in the bedroom area.

Summary: Great location
